Men’s Ministry

The purpose of our Men’s Ministry is to equip men to be spiritual leaders through discipleship, service, fellowship, and outreach.  Monthly “man time” and work projects are part of this ministry.

The purpose of Women’s Ministry is to spiritually strengthen and encourage women through fellowship.  We have several events throughout the year including a fall retreat and the Red Lobster Christmas Dinner.  We have a women’s Bible study called Muffins in the Morning that meets every Thursday morning at 10am.  We also have a women’s group called Stitches of Love that meets every Tuesday from 9:30am-12:30pm.  They crochet, knit, or quilt beautiful items to share with people in need.    

Meals Ministry

Our meals ministry is designed to provide meals to those who are homebound due to surgery, illness, etc., and for funeral dinners.  To be a part, you don’t have to be a great cook!  Much of what we need  can be bought at a local grocery store or restaurant.  

Library Ministry

Our library provides resources to better reach and disciple Union Chapel family members and to increase the amount of media in our families’ homes that meets the criteria of Philippians 4:8.  “Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.”  

Ambassador Ministry

This ministry strives to develop effective visitation for our shut-ins.  Our goal is that each shut-in would be visited by someone at least one time per month.  Shut-ins receive our weekly bulletin and any correspondence.  Special gift bags and baskets are delivered at Christmas and Easter and sometimes we surprise them with small gifts and cards throughout the year.
